Step-by-step Practice

Find a quiet place where you can sit comfortably.

Close your eyes and bring your attention to your breath.

Inhale deeply through the nose — feel your abdomen expand.
 - 
Exhale slowly through the mouth — let go of any tension.
 - 
Continue for a few minutes, simply observing each breath.
 - 
If your mind wanders, gently return to the rhythm of your inhale and exhale.

With each breath, whisper inwardly:
“I am here. I am calm.”
